Songs & Others Like Them (2019)

For a year and a half, I wrote songs and I scrapped lots of them. I had half-riffs, partial lines, and rhyme schemes piling up across multiple notebooks, Word documents, and poorly formatted notes on my phone. But I’m my own worst critic, and it worked: in January 2019, I emerged with an album full of songs that are meaningful to me - songs where I thought about every note, beat, and syllable. Songs about the place I come from, about the fear of never doing as well as I know I could, about how the only way to move forward is to fail a thousand times along the way.

In other words, an album of songs, and others like them.

You can find me on Spotify, iTunes/Apple Music, Bandcamp, Soundcloud, and all the other digital platforms you like. The player here is directly from my distributor, CD Baby, and you can purchase directly from here as well.

Recorded between Nov 2018-Jan 2019 by Casey Lewis at Echo Base Studios in Calgary, AB.

The Acoustic Album

In November 2019, I’ll be going in to Studio D to record some new acoustic songs and releasing the singles over the next six months or so. Keep an eye out for them, starting in late November or early December.
